At home in Battersea
Perhaps best known for its iconic power station, Battersea has recently been witness to a wave of regeneration after many years of previous failed attempts. These new developments have seen the area transformed from one of the capital’s more unloved neighbourhoods, to one that’s quickly becoming the place to be.
Desirable Property Types
Battersea throws up an array of sought after properties, with a mix of modern, riverside apartments and period properties. The areas of Lavender Hill and Northcote Road offer some of Battersea’s most desirable Victorian houses, while Battersea Park and its surrounding area provides a number of larger, mansion type homes.
Chic boutiques, trendy coffee shops and popular bars are aplenty within Battersea, with Northcote Road being a particular hotspot. Elsewhere, the once imposing power station is now home to an array of shops and restaurants as part of the Battersea Power Station’s Circus West Village.
Battersea offers plenty of travel options with Clapham Junction providing access to both the Overground and National Rail network, making getting in and out of London relatively straightforward. The neighbourhood also offers a variety of bus routes travelling into central and out west, while the Thames Clipper service provides quick and easy access to a number of destinations along the Thames.
Due to its green spaces, excellent schools and array of trendy cafes, Battersea is incredibly popular with families, while the area’s excellent transport links also makes it a popular destination for professionals.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
