Typical Belgravia jobs
At home in Belgravia
Home to the wealthy and elite, Belgravia has long been a hub for all manner of notable names, with past residents including Sean Connery, Mozart and Margaret Thatcher. The itself area actually lacks any official boundaries, and as such, comes under the ownership of both the City of Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
Desirable Property Types
As one of the richest and most desired areas of London, property in Belgravia can often be hard to come by. However, when people do purchase in the area, it’s usually the white stucco fronted town houses built around pretty garden squares that are top of the wish list.
While Belgravia might not boast the array of high street shops that other neighbourhoods do, it does have a number of trendy independent boutiques and eateries, with Orange Square and Elizabeth Street being popular destinations.
As you would expect from its central location, Belgravia has plenty of options when it comes to travel. The Underground stations of Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner and Sloane Square are all within walking distance, while London Victoria, one of the capital’s busiest stations, offers both Network Rail and coach services.
Belgravia attracts an array of wealthy residents from far and wide, young and old, and is particularly popular with families due to the area’s proximity to some of London’s best schools. The area’s village-y feel and great green spaces, that includes Hyde Park and St James Park, also make it a popular spot for the retired and celebrities.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
