At home in Bermondsey
Tucked away on the banks of the Thames and once overshadowed by nearby London Bridge and Borough Market, Bermondsey has today become a popular destination in its own right with markets, museums alongside the renowned ‘Bermondsey beer mile’.
Desirable Property Types
Offering up Victorian terrace houses, converted warehouses and modern apartment blocks, Bermondsey offers up a great selection of homes for those looking in the area. Riverside properties in the neighborhood are often the most popular, while the area of Bermondsey Street and the Tannery Lofts development are also highly desirable.
Bermondsey manages to boast some of London’s best restaurants and bars south of the river, with Bermondsey Street having many of the area’s best dining experiences. Meanwhile, the Bermondsey beer mile, an area littered with craft breweries, attracts visitors from across the capital on a Saturday afternoon.
Home to Bermondsey station on the Underground and with the Overground station of Surrey Quays on one side and London Bridge the other, Bermondsey provides some of the capital’s best transport links. Though being the other side of the Thames from many of central London’s offices, plenty of Bermondsey’s residents simply walk to work.
Bermondsey is awash with young professionals and city workers drawn to the area for array of restaurants, shops and galleries, while its proximity to the jobs of central London also makes the area an incredibly attractive destination.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
