Typical Brook Green jobs
At home in Brook Green
A leafy and picturesque suburb of London, Brook Green finds itself nestled between the busy hubs of Kensington and Shepherd’s Bush, yet still manages to retain its quiet and village-y charms. The area is also home to plenty of outdoor spaces, with the popular Brook Green Park a centre for many local, community-led events.
Desirable Property Types
Brook Green offers a number of popular properties that include spacious mansion flats and large family homes that line the area’s postcard streets. The area also has a varying degree of period properties, including cottages that help to retain the area’s charming village atmosphere.
Brook Green finds itself being called home by a number of thriving independent shops and cafes, with Blythe Road being one of the area’s more popular streets. While those after fine dining or simply a quick drink will find the ever-popular green is surrounded by an array of excellent pubs and restaurants.
Despite what you might think for one of London’s quieter neighbourhoods, Brook Green is incredibly well connected with a number of buses passing through the area as well as access to the M4 and M25 both only a short distance away. While Brook Green may not have its own station, both Hammersmith Station and Kensington (Olympia) Station are short walks away and offer entry on to London’s Overground and Underground services.
The area tends to draw in professionals and families who have moved over from nearby Kensington and Notting Hill, attracted by the excellent transport, great schools and green spaces. The French school Ecole Francaise de Londres Jacques Prevert, located close to the green, also draws in quite a number of French residents in to the area.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
