At home in Camden
Perhaps best known for its vibrant nightlife and lively markets, Camden boasts a rich cultural history that today attracts more than its fair share of alternative visitors. The area also boasts plenty of Green Space, with the popular Regents Park being a popular outdoor destination that is also home to the ZSL London Zoo.
Desirable Property Types
Much like those you’ll find wandering around the markets on a Saturday afternoon, Camden offers up a real interesting variety of properties. And while the area may have a large number of council owned properties, there are still plenty available including Victorian and Georgian terraces alongside larger Victorian houses.
The well-known Camden Market draws in a wide variety of people from foreign tourists to young and alternative teens that all visit the area to browse and enjoy over a 1000 unique stalls, shops, bars and restaurants. Meanwhile, Primrose Hill offers a number of bars and restaurants but without Camden Market’s shabby and fast-paced atmosphere.
Without doubt one of London’s most well connected neighbourhoods, Camden boasts the stations of Camden Town, Mornington Crescent and Chalk Farm, while King’s Cross, St Pancres International and Euston railway stations are all within walking distance from Camden.
Due to its high housing prices, Camden attracts a largely professional crowd with careers often in the creative industries. However, unlike other areas that attract a similar crowd, many in Camden continue to live within the area, simply upgrading their property size or moving on to Primrose Hill as their families grow.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
