At home in Clapham

Split into the areas of Clapham North, Clapham South and Clapham Old Town, Clapham offers up everything a Londoner could want, from great open spaces and numerous transport links, to buzzing nightlife and chic shopping destinations.

Desirable Property Types
Well known for its imposing period properties, built by wealthy merchants before the arrival of the mid-19th century railway, Clapham today boasts a rich variety of properties. Clapham’s Old Town is where you’ll find the area’s oldest properties, with many dating back to the early 18th century, and of which many offer spectacular views over Clapham Common. Elsewhere, the neighbourhood also boasts plenty of Edwardian and Victorian semi-detached properties alongside modern apartment blocks.

Notable Amenities
Clapham provides a real mix of shopping choices with large supermarkets, high street stores, charming boutiques around the old town, and the Venn Street Market, held just off Clapham Common, all calling this part of London home.

One of Clapham’s biggest draws is its incredible transport links with access to the Underground from the three stations of Clapham North, Clapham South and Clapham Common. While not actually within Clapham, but found in neighbouring Battersea, Clapham Junction station provides access to both the Overground and National Rail network.

Likely Demographic
Offering excellent transport links and a wealth of pubs, bars and restaurants, Clapham is incredibly popular with young professionals. The area’s beautiful open spaces and great schools also help draw in a healthy amount of young families.

Nice to meet you

The Homyze Story

Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.

When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.

Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
