Typical Clerkenwell jobs
At home in Clerkenwell
One of central London’s more hip areas, Clerkenwell plays host to the annual Clerkenwell Design Week, which sees the crème de la crème of the world’s leading designers descend upon the area for a few days. The area also offers some of London’s best markets that includes Smithfield Market, the largest wholesale meat market in the UK, and Leather Lane Market that sells all manner of goods.
Desirable Property Types
Well known for its multitude of architecture and design agencies, a number of Clerkenwell’s properties reflect the area’s creativity with sleek flats and trendy apartments that many of the area’s highly paid creatives call home.
The area boasts a number of trendy bars and restaurants with Clerkenwell Green being a hive of activity post office hours.
While Barbican Station and Farringdon station may be the only actual stations within Clerkenwell itself, the stations of St Paul’s, Old Street, Angel and Chancery Lane all sit just outside of the region’s limits and are all easily accessed.
Being one of London’s key hubs for creativity, Clerkenwell attracts more than its fair share of artists. However, the largest age group within the area is that of 30-44 year olds, showing that the area’s main demographic to most likely be creative professionals living in an area close to the offices and agencies of their work rather than young families.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
