At home in Harrow
Stood between the Hertfordshire countryside to the west, and the hustle and bustle of London to the east, Harrow offers the best of both worlds for its residents.
Desirable Property Types
Much like Wembley, Harrow is very much the suburbs and the area’s properties reflect this with a mixture of detached and semi-detached 30’s homes along tree-lined streets. However, Harrow isn’t completely dominated by such properties, as there are a number of Victorian Terraces and large Edwardian style homes to be found close to the Harrow on the Hill area of the neighbourhood.
With its independent shops, great cafes and market town feel, Harrow on the Hill’s High Street is a popular shopping destination for those tired of central London’s overcrowded businesses.
When it comes to travel, Harrow is incredibly well served with a number of Underground and Overground stations, including Harrow on the Hill, West Harrow, Kenton and Harrow & Wealdstone all offering access to central London in little over 30 minutes.
Being based between the countryside and the city, Harrow attracts a great deal of families who want the green space yet still want to remain within easy reach of the jobs of the central London. Harrow is also the UK’s most religiously diverse local authority area with larger than average numbers Jewish, Hindu and Muslim residents.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
