At home in Hoxton
London’s hipster haven, this once avoided area of London is now awash with trendy cafes and hip galleries, with Hoxton Square being the area’s centre for the its cosmopolitan activity.
Desirable Property Types
Much like its neighbour of Shoreditch, Hoxton’s most sought after properties are predominantly converted warehouses, modern flats within new developments and Georgian and Victorian terrace housing.
Having merged more and more with Shoreditch over recent years, Hoxton has become a hive of activity with all manner of bars, restaurants and markets scattered throughout, though the area does lack a larger shopping centre.
Being within such a central location, many simply walk or cycle their way to the offices of The City, though the area is still well connected with Old Street Station just outside the area’s limits. While with the introduction of the Overground in recent years, accessing Hoxton has been much easier with both Hoxton and Haggerston stations within the area’s limits.
Home to mostly young professionals working within creative and tech industries, Hoxton is a prime location for those looking to work hard and play hard with its close proximity to nightlife and offices. However, much like with Shoreditch, many move out of the area as they reach a certain age, sacrificing the fast paced lifestyle for space as they begin families.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
