Typical Kensal Green jobs
At home in Kensal Green
An area somewhat confusingly also known as Kensal Rise, Kensal Green is one of North West London’s hipper neighbourhoods and has in recent years seen a wealth of celebrities move in. The area is also home to Kensal Green Cemetery, a 19th century graveyard that was modeled on Paris’s Pere Lachaise Cemetery, and in which resides a number of well-known writers and inventors.
Desirable Property Types
The vast majority of Kensal Green’s properties tend to be Victorian terraces of varying sizes. The area also boasts a few early 20th century properties too, in particular around the area of Chamberlayne Road, while Mortimer Road boasts a number of modern flats.
The popular Chamberlayne Road is very much Kensal Green’s high street and offers a mix of chic cafes, up-market boutiques and hip bars.
As you might expect from one of North West London’s cooler neighbourhoods, travel in and out of the area is relatively pain free. The stations of Kensal Green and Kensal Rise are both on the Overground, while Kensal Green also connects to the Bakerloo Line on the Underground.
Kensal Green manages to attract an array of residents that includes those priced out of nearby Notting Hill to city workers and young professionals after a hip place with plenty going on.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
