At home in Kentish Town
Once one of North London’s forgotten areas, Kentish Town is today a thriving neighbourhood with all manner of exciting hotspots that includes a number of popular bars and restaurants. While with Hampstead and its stunning green spaces one side, and the lively and happening Camden on the other, Kentish Town is an ideal location for those after the best of both worlds.
Desirable Property Types
Characterised by its colourful Victorian terrace houses that line the area’s streets, Kentish Town offers some of North London’s most charming properties. Elsewhere, trendy warehouse conversions and flats within new developments are also highly sought by those looking to call Kentish Town home.
Kentish Town Road is awash with great shops, bars and restaurants, with everything from well-known coffee shop chains and takeaways to a Mediterranean food hall and a trendy craft beer brewery all in the area.
Alongside a number of bus routes, Kentish Town is also home to the Kentish Town Underground station on the Northern Line, while the Overground runs from Gospel Oak and Kentish Town West too.
Kentish Town boasts a relatively varied demographic with the majority of its inhabitants being professionals in their 30’s and families drawn to the area by it schools and green spaces while still being with easy commuting distance to central London. The area also has its fair share of long-term residents with many having lived through the area’s change from forgotten corner to stylish place to be.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
