Typical Marylebone jobs
At home in Marylebone
One of London’s most sought-after locations, Marylebone manages to capture the calm and ambience of a market town while still being just a short distance from bustling Oxford Street. The area has also seen its fair share of notable residents over the years with Charles Dickens, Jimi Hendrix and Charles Babbage all having called Marylebone home.
Desirable Property Types
Marylebone’s rich aristocratic history is still very much on show when it comes to its most desirable properties. Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian homes all regularly appear on the market and are highly sought after when they do. The area also offers a number of modern builds for those desiring a more contemporary place to call home.
Well served when it comes to both independent specialist shops and larger chain stores, Marylebone also has a weekly farmers market that takes place every Sunday.
As its central location might suggest, Marylebone is well connected when it comes to travel with Marylebone Station being on both the Underground and National Rail network. The area also has its fair share of buses passing through while the M1, M4 and M40 are all within a not too distant journey away.
Offering grand properties within a central London location doesn’t come cheap, so it’s no surprise that a large number of the area’s residents are wealthy investors, of which many come from abroad.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
