Typical Mortlake Ham jobs
At home in Mortlake Ham
Surrounded by green spaces and found beside the Thames, the idyllic Mortlake Ham boasts a semi-rural atmosphere and is a popular destination for those priced out of nearby Richmond. The neighbourhood is also home to Ham House, a 17th century, Grade II listed property that is also said to be one of London’s most haunted buildings.
Desirable Property Types
Unlike many other parts of London, Mortlake Ham remained agricultural for a much longer period than many other areas, and as such, lacks the number of period properties that other neighbourhoods do. However, the area does offer a number of rather large Georgian properties, while there are plenty of 1930’s semis and mid-century brutalist flats.
Being located alongside the Thames and with its countryside charm, Mortlake Ham manages to offer up an array of some of London’s best pubs. Elsewhere, nearby Richmond also offers a busy and popular high street with a number of high street stores.
Mortlake Ham’s semi-rural charm does come at a cost, and unfortunately that’s with its travel options, as the area lacks either an Underground or Overground station. Though the area does have a number of bus routes that pass through, while Mortlake station has regular trains running in to both Waterloo and Richmond.
The area tends to attract families and professionals who desire a more outdoor and laidback way of life, yet still need easy access to the jobs of central London.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
