While North Kensington offers all manner of properties, it’s its double-fronted Victorian homes that are the most sought after, with the Oxford Gardens area being highly desirable. The area also boasts a number of Georgian properties and redbrick Edwardian terraces which are also incredibly popular.
North Kensington is well known for its independent boutiques and coffee shops, popular with laptop squatters, along the Golborne Road. The area also has a number of markets, which are often busy with both residents and tourists alike.
While North Kensington may lack its own station, its does have Ladbroke Grove, Latimer Road and Westbourne Park, all on the Underground, nearby, while a number of buses, on their way to Oxford Circus and Clapham Junction, regularly pass through.
Offering a relaxed atmosphere and the green spaces of Little Wormwood Scrubs, while still being within reach of Notting Hill and Ladbroke Grove, helps North Kensington attract a mix of families and professionals from a variety of industries.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
