At home in Notting Hill
Well known for its annual carnival and the 1999 film starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts, Notting Hill is one of London’s most popular neighbourhoods and see’s visitors flock to the area throughout the year.
Desirable Property Types
Notting Hill’s most desirable properties are its iconic garden square facing large stucco terraces of which many have been converted into apartments. While much like the rest of London, Notting Hill also offers a number of new modern flats.
Notting Hill is a hive of excellent restaurants, shops and bars with just about every other street offering something special. However, Portobello Road is perhaps the area’s best-known street and which has a weekend market that draws in Londoners from all across the capital.
When it comes to transport Notting Hill is incredibly well connected with a number of Underground stations including Notting Hill Gate, Holland Park and Ladbroke Grove to name a few. Being in West London, access to the M4 and M40 motorways are also both easily accessible.
Notting Hill attracts an assortment of wealthy people into the area that includes celebrities to bankers, but its particularly popular with young families moving in due to the excellent schools and the not too distant parks of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Those that do move to Notting Hill often do so for good as once settled are often reluctant to leave.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
