At home in Peckham
South East London’s equivalent to the hipster hotspot that is Shoreditch, Peckham may be best known for its car park rooftop bar and pop up galleries but the area also boasts a number of community schemes that are helping to bring local residents together.
Desirable Property Types
In more recent years Peckham has seen a wave of new developments, with many more expected, which have included a number of up-market apartments. However, Peckham also has its fair share of Victorian terraces, Georgian houses and warehouse conversions that are all highly desirable.
Living up to its hipster credentials, Peckham is a haven of trendy cafes, buzzing bars and chic markets, with Peckham Rye’s array of eateries and bars growing by the week. Meanwhile, for those after something a little more up-market, Bellenden Road boasts a number of popular restaurants.
Much like with neighbouring Camberwell, Peckham doesn’t have its own Underground station, though it does make up for this with the National Rail and Overground stations of Peckham Rye and Queens Road Peckham.
With its vibrant nightlife as well as the nearby Camberwell Collage of Art, Peckham boasts a relatively young demographic of residents compared to other neighbourhoods. Though the area does have more than its fair share of families, attracted to the area due to its community feel and large green spaces.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
