At home in Pimlico
Offering a range of great property types along the Thames, yet still within the heart of London, Pimlico is one of London’s most sought after areas. While with Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Tate Britain and The Houses of Parliament all within the area, Pimlico attracts more than its fair share of both residents and tourists.
Desirable Property Types
Largely a mix of converted family period properties that have been turned into flats alongside ex-local authority apartment blocks, Pimlico offers a variety of property types. Over recent years, a number of new developments have arisen along the Thames that offer modern living and fantastic views for those that can afford them.
Well linked with the underground stations of Pimlico and Victoria, as well as the Victoria Rail Station, Pimlico is much like its neighbouring areas and provides great transport options to the rest of London.
When compared to its neighbouring areas, Pimlico doesn’t offer much in the way of restaurants and shops, with those that do fill the area mainly catering for tourists. However, those that go looking are sure to find some hidden gems amongst the mainly residential streets of SW1V.
Due to its central location but lower housing costs compared to the rest of central London, Pimlico attracts quite a large young and professional crowd with 33% of the area’s demographic being between the ages of 25 to 40. The area also tends to attract a number of overseas buyers who are buying up many of Pimlico’s new riverside properties.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
