At home in Putney
One of London’s more scenic neighbourhoods, yet still relatively close to central London’s bustling shops and offices, Putney is currently one the capital’s most desired suburbs for those in the know.
Desirable Property Types
As a generally quiet suburban neighbourhood, Putney offers plenty of areas filled with desirable properties that include everything from Edwardian and Victorian terrace houses to grand new mansion homes. However, properties along the riverfront are incredibly sought after and are truly some of the most outstanding with their stunning views, riverside walks and conservation status.
Much like the rest of London, Putney has also seen its fair share of new developments with new homes and apartments now taking up space once filled by empty office blocks and wasteland.
Putney is home to a number of great bars and restaurants along Putney High Street, while nothing quite beats a riverside stroll with a coffee from any of the great local cafes.
The area is also well linked to Central London and beyond, with Putney Bridge and East Putney stations on the Underground and Putney Station on the National Rail network. For a change of pace, the River Bus makes its way down the Thames and ends at Blackfriars.
Offering a number of great local schools and plenty of green spaces, Putney generally tends to attract families who still want a relatively straightforward commute into Central London. While with Putney’s variety of properties, many stay within the area, simply upsizing or downsizing as they see fit.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
