At home in Queen’s Park
One of north London’s more fashionable areas, alongside its neighbours of West Hampstead and Maida Vale, Queen’s Park is much loved for its community spirit and village-y feel.
Desirable Property Types
The large majority of Queen’s Park’s most sought after homes are its Victorian and Edwardian properties of which many have since been turned into apartments, though complete homes still exist. The former workers cottages of The Queens Park Estate are also incredibly popular and are also protected by their conservation-area status.
Whilst Queen’s Park might not be shopping central, it does boast the popular shopping streets of Salusbury Road and Chamberlayne Road that are a hive of chic boutiques and friendly cafes. Elsewhere, the Queen’s Park’s Farmers Market takes place every Sunday on the Salusbury Primary School playground and offers all manner of stalls selling fresh produce and delicious dishes.
Travel from zone 2-based Queen’s Park is nice and straightforward with a range of options when it comes to getting around. The stations of Queen’s Park and Kensal Green are both on the Underground and Overground, while Brondesbury Park and Kensal Rise are both on the Overground.
Queen’s Park is an incredibly attractive destination for families to call home, and it’s easy to see why with its community feel, great green spaces and excellent schools. The area is also popular with creative types and those working within the media for its ease of access to central London.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
