Typical Richmond jobs
At home in Richmond
Successfully managing to blend the calm and countryside feel of a small town, while still being very much within touching distance of the capital’s jobs and entertainment, Richmond is unsurprisingly one of the UK’s most desired locations. The area is also home to Richmond Park, a stunning and picturesque green space that holds the honour of being the largest royal park in London.
Desirable Property Types
When it comes to properties, Richmond has some of the finest that London has to offer, including a mix of Georgian, Edwardian and Victorian properties with the most desirable being close to The Green. And as you would expect from London, a number of new developments are also appearing on the market, with modern flats being the most common.
Richmond is home to a number of bars, shops and restaurants that can be found down The Quadrant and the high street. Meanwhile, those after a drink with a view are spoilt for choice with plenty of pubs beside Richmond Green and along the Thames.
When it comes to travel, the area is also well connected to the rest of London with Richmond Station serving both the Underground and Overground. The area is also well served by road with the A316/M3 and A4/M4 giving residents straightforward journeys in and out of London.
The area tends to attract well-to-do professionals and families who move to the area for its picturesque surroundings, excellent local schools and ease of travel into central London. Richmond is also home to a number of celebrities that includes the likes of Mick Jagger and David Attenborough.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
