At home in South Kensington
Home to some of London’s most renowned museums, including the V&A Museum and the Natural History Museum, South Kensington offers its residents stunning properties and world-class cultural hotspots right on their doorstep.
Desirable Property Types
The majority of South Kensington’s most wanted properties are flats and maisonettes that are found within large six and seven storey Victorian terraces that often overlook a garden square. While the area also boasts a number of more modern developments and purpose built mansion blocks.
The recent redesign of Exhibition Road has seen an explosion of activity in the area with a number of cafes and restaurants popping up. Meanwhile, Brompton Road provides a variety of boutique shops and larger chain stores.
Well served by a number of bus routes, South Kensington also has the Underground stations of South Kensington and Gloucester Road which are both within Zone 1.
South Kensington generally attracts a mix of upper class families, of which a fair deal are international, that are attracted to the area by its great schools. Professionals are also drawn to the area for its stunning architecture, great museums and popular restaurants, and those that do buy within the area often do so for the long term, keeping the property as a second home after retiring to the country.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
