Once the home of Vincent van Gogh, Stockwell has in recent years seen plenty of regeneration that has turned it from forgotten neighbourhood to popular property destination. While with both the lively nightlife and buslting markets of neighbours Brixton and Clapham, Stockwell can be somewhat of a hidden gem.

Desirable Property Types
Stockwell tends to have a mix of properties with a variety of different period homes available, and unlike many other areas of London, many have not been split up and divided into apartments.

Notable Amenities
Unlike the vast majority of neighbourhoods, Stockwell lacks any real centre, and as such, its many restaurants and bars are clustered around the area rather than centered within a specific point. The area is well known however for its large Portuguese community and for ‘Little Portugal’ which is home to a number of great continental cafes.

When it comes to travel, Stockwell is relatively well connected with Stockwell Station on the Underground and various bus routes passing through the area. While just outside of Stockwell stand a number of other Underground stations that include Oval, Clapham North and Brixton.

Likely Demographic
Due to its relatively low housing costs compared to neighbouring areas, Stockwell tends to attract lower income families, yet the area still draws in its fair share of young professionals, who move to the area for its great access to the offices of Central London as well as the lively neighbourhoods of Brixton and Clapham.

When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.

Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
