At home in Stratford
Once a traditional working class suburb, Stratford was transformed by the 2012 Olympics, and is today home to the capital’s largest shopping centre as well as having over 20,000 new homes.
Desirable Property Types
Before the arrival of the Olympics and the regeneration that came with it, the majority of Stratford’s most sought after properties were small Victorian terraces of which many are still around today. However, post-Olympics, the neighbourhood’s most desirable properties are its new modern apartment blocks, with Manhattan Loft Gardens and Chobham Manor being particularly popular.
When it comes to shopping and dining experiences, Stratford is well catered for with the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre and the Stratford centre boasting all the high street stores and restaurants one could imagine between them both.
Stratford also has a number of transport links and is one of East London’s major travel hubs. Stratford International has a number of high-speed trains to destinations outside the capital, while Stratford station provides links to the Underground, Overground, National Rail network and the Docklands Light Railway.
Stratford is currently a mix of working class families who have called the area home long before the arrival of the Olympics, and professionals, young and old, who have moved into the new apartment developments.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
