At home in Swiss Cottage
Taking its name from the unmistakable mid 19th century coaching inn that today stands as the area’s outstanding landmark, Swiss Cottage is a neighbourhood best known for its community spirit and recent regeneration.
Desirable Property Types
Those looking to call Swiss Cottage home will find an array of properties down the area’s picturesque tree-lined streets. The majority of desirable properties tend to be large red brick mansions, of which a majority have since been turned into flats, while a number of modern terraces and new builds are also highly sought after.
While not well known for its shopping or dining, Swiss Cottage does boast a number of great independent boutiques and cafes down Finchley Road, while the twice-weekly farmers market is perfect for picking up fresh produce.
Swiss Cottage station on the Jubilee Line stands in the heart of the area and offers convenient access to central London. The Overground station of South Hampstead is also close by, while a number of bus routes also pass through the area.
Due to its excellent schools and nearby green spaces of Hampstead Heath to the north and Regent’s Park to the south, Swiss Cottage tends to attract largely families. Professionals after a quieter pace of life, yet with a straightforward journey into central London, also find the area incredibly appealing.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
