Typical The City jobs
At home in The City
Perhaps better known as the heart of London’s business district, The City does have a small, but growing, number of residents that call the area home. Though The City is home to the Barbican, Europe’s largest multi-arts and conference venue, which helps bring a cultural edge to an area sorely lacking in entertainment and culture.
Desirable Property Types
While not boasting the array of desirable properties that other London neighbourhoods do, The City has seen a number of new developments over recent years with large sleek tower blocks popping up within the area. Elsewhere, the iconic Barbican also hosts a number of homes, with trendy penthouses and flats all being incredibly sought after.
Being the centre for London’s business district see’s The City swell during the day as thousands travel to the area for work, and as such, the area is one of London’s best served for public transport. Here you’ll find underground stations including Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Fenchurch Street, Blackfriars and Cannon Street to name a few.
With the biggest appeal to those buying within The City being the short distance to their work, the vast majority of the area’s inhabitants are young professionals with money to burn. Though many do not call the area home for long with those living in the area often moving out after 5 to 10 years to more family friendly areas of London.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
