Desirable Property Types
Property in Waterloo can often be divided into the two categories of the old and the very new. Down Victoria’s back streets, away from the crowds of tourists, is where you’ll find a number of grand Victorian homes, while closer to Waterloo’s busier areas you’ll find a number of modern apartment blocks.
Waterloo boasts a great selection of dining and shopping experiences, with a mix of smaller independent stalls and chain restaurants along the Thames providing something for everyone. Elsewhere, historic Lower Marsh offers up a number of unique cafes and independent shops that are very much the heart of Waterloo’s long-term community.
Being home to Waterloo station helps make the area one of London’s best connected when it comes to transport links. The station offers access to the Underground with the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern and Waterloo & City lines all passing through, while the National Rail network also has numerous trains departing from the station.
The majority of Waterloo’s residents tend to be professionals who appreciate the area’s excellent transport links and array of cultural hotspots as well as its bars and restaurants.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
