At home in West Hampstead
Concentrated around the scenic parks of Fortune Green and West End Green, West Hampstead is one of London’s more scenic neighbourhoods, and with Hampstead Heath not far away, it’s also one of the greenest. Though it’s not just the green spaces that residents of West Hampstead love, it’s also the area’s strong sense of community spirit that’s regularly seen in the local newsletter and events.
Desirable Property Types
West Hampstead offers a variety of properties that includes Victorian and Edwardian homes alongside large blocks of mansion flats and modern apartment developments.
Though housing in the area has been somewhat of sore subject lately, with recent rises in property prices leaving residents who have enjoyed the area’s affordability and openness, compared to that its neighbours, annoyed.
Independent coffee shops, dining hotspots and popular boutiques all line West Hampstead’s streets, with Broadhurst Gardens, Mill Lane and West End Lane being the best spots to take advantage of the great amenities on offer.
The area also boasts excellent transport links with both an Underground and an Overground station, of which both go by the name of West Hampstead, while the West Hampstead Thameslink connects the area to central London and beyond.
The large majority of West Hampstead’s residents tend to be professionals who take advantage of the area’s excellent transport links into the centre of the capital. While with its first-rate schools and myriad of properties, families are also drawn into the area and often stay for years, simply moving up or down the property ladder as their needs require.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
