At home in Willesden
Once one of London’s fastest growing neighbourhoods and home to one of the capital’s largest Irish communities, Willesden is today an attractive destination to those priced out of nearby Kensal Rise and Queen’s Park. And with a recently redeveloped library, popular sports centre and the green space of Gladstone Park, Willesden is fast becoming a property hotspot for young families.
Desirable Property Types
Down its numerous tree lined streets you’ll find a mix of mostly large Victorian and 1930’s style homes that are a mix of converted apartments and complete homes. Alongside these properties also sit a number of new developments that are so common across London.
Much like the rest of London, Willesden has plenty to offer when it comes to bars, cafes and restaurants with Walm Lane and High Road offering perhaps the best choice when in the area.
Willesden may only offer the single Underground station of Willesden Green, but this does provide quick and easy access to central London via the Jubilee Line. Meanwhile those who prefer to hop on a bus have plenty of opportunities to do so with a variety of bus routes passing through the area.
With its green spaces, great schools and easy commute into central London, Willesden is a haven for young families that lack the spending power to buy within more expensive neighbourhoods.
Nice to meet you
The Homyze Story
Whilst working on projects across London, Adam and Andrew were constantly asked by friends to refer a good plumber or carpenter. As property obsessives, Adam and Andrew were only too happy to help. They know what it is like to get your dream home. Or how annoying it can be if something is just not quite right.
When following up to make sure that they were happy with the work that had been done, Adam and Andrew realised that this was what the home services and construction industries were sorely lacking: quality customer service.
Quality tradespeople and excellent customer service were introduced and they got on fabulously. One thing led to another, and Homyze was born. We're really proud of what Homyze has done so far... she's growing up so fast but this is just the beginning. We know we will change the way in which people think about getting help with their home.
